Prequalification
General Application Disclosures
This request for
prequalification is made to Sheffield Financial, a division of Truist
Bank. You agree that the information
that you are providing is true, correct and accurate to the best of your knowledge. You agree that Sheffield Financial may obtain
your consumer credit report from one or more consumer reporting agencies to
evaluate this request for prequalification.
You agree that you are at least 18 years of age.
You understand that by submitting
this request for prequalification that Sheffield Financial (via Truist Bank)
may perform one or more soft credit inquiries to consumer reporting agencies
which will not affect your credit score.
If your request for prequalification is approved and choose to continue
your application, then Sheffield Financial will request a full credit report
from one or more consumer reporting agencies, which will be a “hard” credit
pull which can affect your credit score.
It is possible that if you receive a prequalification approval, you may
ultimately be declined for credit when you submit a full application if upon
full review you do not meet the applicable credit criteria. In certain circumstances your
prequalification request may result in a “hold” status, indicating that we are
not declining your request at that time but that we need additional information
or to further review certain items in your credit history or request in order
to make a decision. We will notify you
in writing, and you will have the options of submitting a full credit
application which will result in a hard credit pull, or you may choose not to
proceed.

connection with an update, renewal or extension of the credit applied for
without further notice to you.
